I’ve recently started biking places. The pay offs are fresh air, daily exercise, and a sense of doing some beneficial for the environment.
However, I do find that I have to adjust my mindset when getting dressed in the morning. If I want a skirt, I better wear leggings underneath. Skin tight jeans are out and layers are a must. Boots are awkward, heavy shoes can be dangerous, and sandals are just asking for disaster. After careful consideration it seems that moccasins, ballet flats, or sneakers are my safest options.
